On November 15. the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show officially commenced, marking the public debut of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. The production version of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was unveiled on October 29. with a pre-sale price set at 814.900 yuan. It is scheduled to hit the market in March 2025.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra features a more aggressive body kit, with extensive use of carbon fiber on both the exterior and interior. It is powered by two V8s electric motors and one V6s electric motor, delivering a maximum output of 1.548 horsepower. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h. Notably, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is track-ready in its factory configuration.

Exterior Design

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra’s front bumper features U-shaped wind blades that match the body color on both sides, along with a front splitter and diamond-patterned grille intake at the center. The car’s emblem and headlights are darkened, and silver accents are added to the middle of the hood and trunk lid.

Silver trim with an “Ultra” logo runs along the lower edge of the doors, while the vehicle is equipped with a carbon-fiber roof, carbon-fiber side skirt accents, and carbon-fiber exterior mirror caps. A lidar unit is mounted on the roof, and a “U” badge is placed above the side camera on the front fender. The car measures 5.115 mm in length, 1.970 mm in width, and 1.465 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3.000 mm.

Wheels and Braking System

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra comes with 21-inch black rims, paired with Pirelli P ZERO tires sized 265/35 R21 at the front and 305/30 R21 at the rear. It is fitted with carbon-ceramic brake discs—430 mm in diameter at the front and 410 mm at the rear—and features yellow Akebono brake calipers with six pistons at the front and four pistons at the rear.

Rear Design

The rear of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra boasts a fixed carbon-fiber spoiler, with all rear badges finished in black. The “SU7 Ultra” emblem on the lower right corner denotes its identity. The car also features an active rear diffuser, emphasizing its sporty character.

Interior Details

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra enhances the standard model’s interior with additional carbon-fiber elements, including a carbon-fiber sport steering wheel, center console panel, seat back panels, rear air vent trim, welcome sills, and door panel inserts.

The vehicle is fitted with dual-tone yellow and black sports seats with yellow seat belts, upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara. An “Ultra” logo is embedded on the backrests of the front seats.

Powertrain

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is powered by two V8s motors and one V6s motor. The V8s motors generate a maximum output of 578 horsepower and 635 Nm of torque, while the V6s motor provides 392 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The combined system output reaches 1.548 horsepower, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.98 seconds and achieve a top speed of 350 km/h. It is equipped with a CATL Kirin II high-power track-specific battery pack, supporting up to 5.2C charging rates and a peak voltage of 897 volts.

Additional Features

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra features closed dual-chamber air springs, with the option to upgrade to Bilstein EVO T1 coilover dampers. It also comes equipped with a 40-watt external speaker capable of projecting engine sounds.

Market Competition

Given the high-performance positioning of the production version of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, its competitors include the Tesla Model S Plaid (priced at 814.900 yuan, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.1 seconds), the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT (priced at 1.998.000 yuan, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.3 seconds), and the Zeekr 001 FR (priced at 769.000 yuan, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.02 seconds).
