I wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience to mine. Have you ever occasionally forgotten to bring your car key? What do you do in such a situation? Let me share my latest experience with you.
This morning, I overslept and was in a rush to get to work. I grabbed my laptop and walked downstairs, taking five minutes to get to my car. When I got to my NIO ET5. I realized there was a problem: I had forgotten my car key. If I went back to get the key, I would definitely be late for work, which was quite embarrassing.
Then I suddenly remembered that the sales lady told me when I bought the car that it was equipped with a smart key. So, I opened the NIO app I had previously downloaded on my phone. On the homepage, as shown in the picture, I clicked the unlock button in the upper left corner. The screen asked if I wanted to unlock the entire car immediately. I clicked "Confirm," and at that moment, the car door opened. I got in, put the car in drive, and sped off to work, arriving at 8:29 AM. We start work at 8:30 AM.
In conclusion, the smart key of this NIO ET5 indeed helped me a lot on my way to work today. Using my phone to unlock the car saved me from going back upstairs to get the car key, and then back down to drive to work. Thanks to the smart key, I wasn't late for work, which was great.
