Recently, Xiaomi Automobile officially released new information about the Xiaomi SU7 model: the vehicle is equipped with a panoramic glass sunroof, sparking public interest in its load-bearing capacity. In response, Xiaomi Automobile has clarified that the panoramic sunroof of the Xiaomi SU7 is designed to support approximately 120 kilograms.
Regarding this issue, Xiaomi Automobile emphasized safety concerns, advising users not to stand on the roof or use the panoramic sunroof to carry items. They remind consumers: "For your safety and the safety of your driving, please do not stand on the roof or use the panoramic sunroof to transport items."
According to relevant information, the total glass area of the Xiaomi SU7 reaches 5.35 square meters, featuring a fully transparent design that ensures an unobstructed view without compromising the comfort of passengers. However, consumers need not worry about the intensity of summer sunlight, as the panoramic sunroof employs a double-layer silver plating process, achieving a 99.9% ultraviolet isolation rate and a 99.1% infrared isolation rate.
Additionally, according to statistics from Xiaomi Automobile, when the temperature reaches 38°C and the vehicle is exposed to outdoor sunlight for 1.5 hours, the interior temperature of the Xiaomi SU7 is 59.5°C, while the interior temperature of the Tesla Model 3 facelift reaches 71.5°C, a difference of only 12°C. This data indicates that the Xiaomi SU7 can maintain good temperature control performance in extreme high-temperature environments.
